All people down through time have looked for ways to rid themselves of their sin. People have tried power, in order to control their surroundings. Some have tried to escape through drugs and alcohol. Many seek psychiatric help to cover their guilt. Each of you could probably add a dozen things to this list.
But the Bible speaks of only one solution. God has assigned only one person to forgive sin. That person is Jesus Christ. Whenever you come in contact with someone who is struggling with guilt and sin, be sure to point them in the right direction – send them to Jesus.
